125 MW Doni Karnataka

A Weather Monitoring Station (WMS) has been successfully deployed for a 125 MW renewable energy project in Doni, Karnataka, enhancing accurate environmental and solar resource monitoring across the site while supporting efficient plant operations through continuous data acquisition.

Real-time measurement of meteorological and solar parameters enables precise performance evaluation, generation forecasting, and long-term optimization. The system is powered by the MBLogger 1000 Pro, ensuring reliable data logging and system control. Atmospheric conditions are monitored using the MBMet 803, while soiling losses are effectively tracked using the DustIQ by Kipp & Zonen. Wind parameters are measured through the WS 600 by Lufft, delivering high-accuracy wind data. High-precision solar irradiance measurement is achieved using the MS-80SH by EKO Instruments, ensuring dependable solar resource assessment.

Installed with a robust and field-proven design, the system ensures uninterrupted and reliable monitoring, contributing to improved plant efficiency and operational excellence.
