The MBMet-807 is a compact Digital Input to RS485 Interface module designed for industrial monitoring and automation applications. It enables sensors with digital outputs (NPN or PNP) to communicate over an RS485 Modbus RTU network, allowing seamless integration with SCADA systems, data loggers, and monitoring platforms.
Operating on a wide 9–32 V DC power supply, the MBMet-807 interfaces with field sensors such as status inputs, counter signals, rain gauges, and wind speed sensors. It converts digital pulses into Modbus-readable data, supporting 32-bit signed integer and floating-point outputs for accurate and reliable data acquisition.
The module features an isolated RS485 communication interface with selectable baud rates (4200, 9600, and 19200) to ensure stable communication in industrial environments. Housed in a rugged IP65 powder-coated aluminium enclosure, the MBMet-807 is well suited for weather stations, environmental monitoring systems, and renewable energy applications.
