Precision Meets Durability
At the core of the MBMet-100 is a rugged 3-cup anemometer with a low startup threshold of ≤0.5 m/s, ensuring reliable wind detection in low-flow environments. It provides accurate wind speed measurements with ±2% full-scale accuracy, depending on the model variant. Built with an anodized aluminum body and UV-resistant polycarbonate cups, the sensor is engineered for long-term durability in harsh outdoor environments, including dust-prone, coastal, and high-radiation zones. Its performance remains consistent across a wide temperature range of –30°C to +70°C, and it is rated to withstand wind speeds up to 70 m/s, making it ideal for solar power plants, industrial weather stations, and safety-critical monitoring systems.

Available in multiple output formats— Analog (4–20 mA / 0–5 V), and RS-485 Modbus RTU—the MBMet-100 integrates easily with SCADA systems, RTUs, data loggers, and MBLogger series devices. It complies with IEC 61724-1 standards, making it ideal for solar tracker systems, wind-based alarm triggers, and long-term performance ratio analysis.

The device supports Modbus (Master/Slave), FTP, and SNTP communication protocols. It incorporates a built-in non-volatile memory of 32MB and offers expandable SD card memory, capable of accommodating up to 16GB. The MBLogger series is specifically designed to cater to the needs of data logging applications, ensuring optimal functionality at a cost-effective operation. Each variant is equipped with an integrated 3G/4G modem, enabling the simultaneous transfer of data to multiple file servers.
