Diode ORing - MBOR

The MBOR-5-32 is a compact and reliable diode ORing (active redundancy) module from MBMet, designed to ensure uninterrupted DC power in industrial and automation applications. It enables multiple DC power supplies to be connected to a single load, ensuring continuous system operation even if one power source fails.

Operating over a wide input voltage range of 9–32 V DC and supporting up to 5 A output current, the MBOR-5-32 automatically selects the healthiest power source without manual intervention or system downtime. The module also prevents reverse current flow, protecting connected power supplies and loads.

Housed in a durable ABS enclosure, the MBOR-5-32 features a compact DIN-rail mountable design with a linear pin layout. Phoenix screw-type connectors with tension sleeves ensure secure and reliable electrical connections, making it suitable for demanding industrial environments.
