The MBMet 1300 enables wireless communication between master and slave devices through a Zigbee mesh network. Zigbee is a low-power, low-data-rate wireless mesh networking standard designed to connect devices that do not require high bandwidth.

The MBMet 1300 features a Modbus RS-485 interface, allowing the connection of up to 32 devices. Data from these devices is transmitted wirelessly through the mesh network to the required destination. This solution helps eliminate expensive cabling and labor, reduces setup time for device communication, and prevents damage caused by unexpected cable surges.
